The minerals are brought up and extracted from a depth of over 600 meters. This deep ocean water has numerous advantages because it has a consistently low temperature of 6 - 9 degrees Celsius and is isolated from air and sunlight. It is therefore almost free of bacteria and the minerals obtained from it are also pure and unadulterated.
